Nico O’Reilly A further confident performance from the youngster following his first cap versus another side. Saka did not capitalize on full advantage of an exquisite flick behind their defense. The role looks secure already. 7/10

The newcomer His maiden beginning with the national team. A bit sloppy in possession however his inswinging corners were a threat. An effective game manager available to the boss to have against defensive opponents. Booked after a reckless tackle. Six

The midfielder Deliveries from dead balls and free kicks were dangerous. Had room to drift on the left but was in an offside position as the pass came with a chance to score. Granted a deserved break after an hour. 6

The star midfielder Functioned in a forward role down the right and contributed with defensive duties. Displayed flashes of quality and mishit a shot over. Replaced towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. 7

The winger Had England’s top opening in the opening period, his effort smartly stopped from the opposing goalkeeper. With Quansah staying deep, it fell to him to provide width on the right although his balls from the touchline were inconsistent. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. 6

Harry Kane The difference-maker netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes in an England shirt. The first a trademark opportunist's goal and the second an excellent finish with his head following a clever run from his marker. Aged 32, he’s only getting better and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him leading the line. 8

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to make an impact on the left flank. Had a decent opportunity after being played in by the midfielder however the keeper made the save. His replacement had a greater an impact after coming on. 5
