Approximately twenty-five thousand residences in Queensland's southeast found themselves without power on Monday morning after powerful weather events swept through the area, generating powerful gusts hitting 109 kilometers per hour.
Substantial Frozen Precipitation and Widespread Damage
Locals witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in particular locations. Weather authorities confirmed that various areas across the state had been impacted by significant hail.

Rescue organizations received nearly 600 requests for assistance across the state, mainly for building damage but also for collapsed vegetation and inundation.

Meteorological Predictions
Humid circumstances were forecast to persist along much of eastern Queensland this week as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
Tuesday was predicted as the most rainy day, with ongoing storm activity anticipated across different parts of both regions.

Health officials alerted that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the countryside regions, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
